Bright Yellow Business Retreat Speakers
Kalin Sheick
Kalin is the founder of Sweetwater Floral, creative director, podcast host, florist, & mediocre veggie gardener.
Sweetwater has grown into a seven-figure company, creating amazing florals for events + weddings across the State of Michigan, and a floral shop right down the street from our retreat!
Today Kalin is committed to helping women realize that designing a life that truly fulfills you isn't necessarily one where you check all the boxes, but rather where you follow a passion, ditch the dirt and allow yourself to fully bloom.

Mariah Scott
Mariah runs Rose Color Creative on caffeine-fueled creativity and collaboration. As a true enneagram 7, she loves new people and new ideas.
She lives in Grand Rapids with her boys (husband, 1 yr old son and cat) in a 100-year-old house where she is always trying to decide between five different styles for one room & drinking three drinks at once (one for hydration, one for energy & one for fun). Her hobbies include long walks or hikes, and antiquing while listening to true crime podcasts. She loves being a mom and gets her greatest joy out of gathering friends and family.
Her faith plays a huge role in her view of the world; she believes everyone is created to create, and that embracing that part of your identity can lead to life’s greatest adventures!

Nichole Sadek
Owner of Sadek Law
Nichole was raised by entrepreneurs and do-it-yourselfers, fueling her passion for supporting small businesses and families. Frustrated by the traditional law firm grind, she founded Sadek Law in 2019 to reinvent how people interact with legal services.
Known for her blunt, strategic approach, Nichole’s business clients value her pragmatism, while her IP clients appreciate her creativity and efficiency. A former collegiate rowing champion, she now spends her time with her husband, three kids, and Doberman, Janeway.
Whether you need legal advice or rowing tips, Nichole is ready to help.
Elizabeth from Your Numbers Gal
Elizabeth is a creative turned spreadsheet queen who traded corporate accounting for the challenge of entrepreneurship. After five years in the corporate world, she left behind audits and mergers to chase her dream of supporting growing entrepreneurs as the founder of Your Numbers Gal.
She knows firsthand how personal every decision is for your business because she’s been in the trenches too - leaving a steady salary to become her own boss. When she’s not crunching numbers, Elizabeth’s on the coast of Lake Michigan with her husband and two dogs, Maverick and Ranger, likely running, reading, or remodeling her 1940s fixer-upper. She’s an early bird, a black coffee drinker, and a firm believer that margaritas with honey on the rim are life-changing (you have to try it!).
